Control (2)
“Life”
Every man and woman believes that it is his or her mind that controls life in daily life. This is the conditioned belief and each one is convinced that the mind controls whatever he or she does in the present moment.
Every man and woman also believes that the present moment in life is in the moment that is in front of him or her. Every man and woman also understands that the present moment in life, which is in front of him or her, is neither made by him nor her.
Knowledge in man and woman informs that the present moment, which is in front of them, was in life much before they were ever present. Knowledge informs that the present moment accommodated vegetation and animals and later accommodated man within the present moment, along with vegetation and animals.
Knowledge in man and woman informs that primitive man and woman lived instinctively in the present moment during ancient times, just as animals did before in the present moment in ancient times. They continue to do so even in the present moment in modern times.
As life evolved, life evolved instincts as well. Man and woman continue to live instinctively in the present moment, which they have not understood. They have evolved to believe that their minds control the present moment.
They nevertheless believe their mind can and does control the present moment. This belief, whether it is true or not, needs to be pondered deeply.
Wisdom reveals that in between a moment and the next is moment as well. This signifies that the present moment in life renews itself eternally. Wisdom revealed in the articles Spontaneous Uncontrollable Unpredictable 1,2,3,4, and 5 reveals that the five elements air, water, heat (fire), earth, time and space are together in every present moment in daily life.
The significance of evolvement of the contents within the present moment, which is air, water, heat, earth, in time and space signifies that whatever exists in the present moment is an illusion of the five elements.
Wisdom reveals that the illusion of the five elements in the present moment is not under the control of man. This is because man makes neither the five elements nor the illusions of the five elements; for man does not control the present moment.
Thus, the belief and conviction that the mind controls life is not the truth. It is merely a conditioned belief, but not the truth. The enlightened rightly proclaim that what is meant to happen, albeit illusory, will happen in every moment.

Editor’s Note:
The concept of ‘truth’ has always been, is and will continue to be important to men and women universally. Conditioned belief, however, may be misunderstood to be the truth or to represent the truth. Man’s conviction in his or her power of control keeps him in bondage, albeit illusory. Deep understanding of the wise, as gifted in this article, is a gift beyond value and the door to self-realisation.

German Translator’s Note:
To understand having control over life as the greatest illusion of life is what the wise, when they are actually wise, as in this article by Dr. Shankar, share in detail with humanity. It is not in the power of man to understand or not to understand, therefore only patience is possible and trust that humans will evolve as they are meant to evolve.
