Growth

“Evolution”

Growth is a phenomenon of evolution and science has neither made growth start nor progress, nor has science made evolution start or progress. Growth and movement are synonyms because growth is movement and likewise movement is growth and both evolve and will always continue to do so.

Furthermore, an action is a movement and cannot be separate from the movement. As movement and growth are inseparable, it is obvious that an action is inseparable from growth and movement.

This indicates that action, growth and movement are synonyms. They are expressions of evolution and the process of evolution unfolds in only one way, spontaneously, uncontrollably and unpredictably.

As growth and movement are due to evolution, it is obvious that an action expresses how sophisticated the growth and movement have evolved. As man does not control evolution, it implies that man does not do an action, but merely believes that he does.

Though it appears to the human mind that a man or a woman does an action, the appearance is not an actuality, because all there is in life is a singular, evolving movement or growth of the body. Therefore, an action, which the mind believes is real, is in fact illusory and not real, meaning it is there, but yet not there.

The same principle applies to speaking too. The mouth and the lips grow and move due to evolution. Speaking is understood to be an action. This understanding is also not an actuality, because all there is in life is a singular, evolving movement or growth of the body. Therefore, speaking, which the mind believes is real, is in fact illusory and not real, meaning it is there, but yet not there.

Similarly, sound has evolved and sophisticated as thoughts, words and memory in the mind. This implies that thinking also happens to man, though it appears that he or she can think. The appearance is not an actuality, because all there is in life is a spontaneous, uncontrollable and unpredictable, precise, evolutionary process. Therefore, thinking also is illusory and not real.

This indicates that daily life is illusory, though it appears real to the conditioned mind that has evolved. Growth, therefore, indicates that life takes care of growth and not man. This implies that a man or a woman and their minds will grow the way they are meant to grow.

Editor’s Note:
Ever since philosophers from early history began to expound their theories relating to life on earth, man has been searching for an understanding of evolution. Outstanding amongst those men, who devoted their lives to finding and publishing their findings, was Charles Darwin. Arguments and new explanations continue to this day. Understanding of evolution gifted in this article from Dr. Shankar sheds the light of wisdom on this important subject.

German Translator’s Note:
When we meet a family again which we have not seen over many years, the exclamation that the children have grown so much is very common. If a man or a woman grows old without having children, which is perfectly fine, because this is how life flows for them, they probably don’t feel their own aging as much as parents do. The comparison is missing for the mind to recognise the aging process of the body more intensely. Parents on the other hand see their children grow very close to them, which reminds the parents that they also grow – older. Growth is a natural process of life and includes every movement of the body and mind. This is the sharing of the wise in this article by Dr. Shankar.
