Nature is electricity

“Light”

Nature is made up of earth, matter, vegetation, animal kingdom, human beings and colour. Atoms make up everything that exists in nature, including earth.

Every atom is made up of positively charged protons and negatively charged electrons and electricity too contains both positive and negative charge. This implies that an atom is an illusion of electricity.

This implies that not only vegetation, animal kingdom, matter, earth and colour are illusions of electricity, but also their functions of bearing coloured fruits, ripening, flowering and decay are illusions of electricity.

Vegetation, animal and humans exist because of seeds. Without seeds none would exist. Every atom of any seed is electricity and this means that every variety of seed is an illusion of electricity.

Seeds grow in earth, while the seeds that give rise to animals and humans grow in them. As vegetation, animal kingdom and humans are illusions of electricity, it implies that their growth is because of electricity and an illusion of electricity.

In humans and other living creatures in nature, the brain conveys electrical signals to every sense organ of the living creatures in nature. The electrical signals enable the body and its organs in the living entities in nature to function.

The functions of the human body and its organs are detected as electrical signals as well. For example, the EEG and the ECG from the brain and the heart respectively detect their functions in nature.

Similarly, muscular state and activity in nature is also detected by electrical signals called the electromyogram or EMG, and actions in nature are examples of muscular activity. And so also all the senses and their sensory functions are due to electrical signals from the brain.

Similarly, every atom of the brain makes the brain and its functions to be an illusion of electricity. Furthermore, it implies that every atom of the senses and its functions are illusions of electricity.

Science also points out that electricity is light. The enlightened have rightly pointed that the world is a play of light and, since light is electricity, it implies that nature is electricity or an illusion of light.

Editor’s Note:
Can it be doubted upon reflecting on Dr Shankar’s article that nature is electricity or an illusion of light, that all seekers of enlightenment are themselves already enlightened? Furthermore, that non-seekers too are enlightened? So engaged are we human beings, and understandably so, in beating around the bush for enlightenment, that we become enshrouded in conflicting and confusing ideas. Conflict and confusion, albeit illusory, play no part in the words of the wise.

German Translator’s Note:
Western science has come to believe that parts of anything are independent from each other. Otherwise they would not treat everything as a part to be fixed. This can be observed for example in modern healthcare. Life however, is whole even in its apparent parts. This is obvious when nature is understood not to be this or that but electricity or light, as pointed out by the wise. Electricity or light is not the glue that unites the parts of nature, it is nature itself, appearing as parts. Dr. Shankar’s article "Nature Is Electricity“ gives humanity a deeper understanding of life as a whole.
