Nothing

“Comes out of nothing”

The common belief is that anything comes out from something, and therefore the belief is that nothing cannot come out of nothing. This belief is based on the belief of cause and effect.

The belief of cause and effect refers to matter, vegetation, animal kingdom and human beings. The common belief is that the effects of matter are caused by matter and also that matter is caused by matter.

With regards to vegetation, the common belief is that the effects vegetation has is caused by vegetation and that vegetation is caused by seeds of vegetation.

With regards to animals, the common belief is that the effect of animals is caused by animals and that animals are caused by seeds of animals, which is an animal sperm and an animal ovum.

Similarly, with regards to humans, the common belief is that the effect that humans have on each other is caused by humans and that humans are caused by seeds of humans, which is a human sperm and a human ovum.

The belief that matter causes matter cannot be proved, because the seed that causes matter is neither known nor seen. If matter is broken down, it is assumed that atoms make up matter. But the human eye cannot see atoms.

Atoms are known to be light. Therefore, it appears as though matter comes out of light. So, it is wise to say that matter comes out of nothing, because we cannot hold light with our hands.

The belief that vegetation comes from a seed cannot be proved, though it is believed that a tree comes from a seed and includes a seed as well. This is because a seed that gave rise to the first tree could not have come from a seed, yet the first tree on earth did come.

When a seed is examined there is nothing in the seed. The seed is made up of atoms and atoms are known to be light. So, it is wise to say that the first seed that gave rise to the first tree and the seeds for further vegetation have come out of nothing, because we cannot hold light with our hands.

The same principles apply to the animal kingdom and human beings as well. So, it is wise to say that the animal kingdom and human beings have come out of nothing, because we cannot hold light with our hands.

Therefore, the common belief that something cannot come from nothing is knowledge, which is not the truth. Wisdom indicates that everything is an illusory manifestation of light, which cannot be held by our hands. This signifies that everything comes from nothing. The enlightened have rightly proclaimed that life is an illusion of light and sound.

Editor’s Note:
Materialism declares that nothing exists except matter. Knowledge asserts that this so on the grounds that there is no tangible existence of nothing from which anything can arise. Man’s mind is conditioned by this belief, albeit illusory. The gift of the wise presented in this article is the understanding that everything comes from nothing. This is enlightenment.

German Translator’s Note:
Man’s ego desperately wants to possess something. It is how life has evolved the human mind to be. But what could the mind exist of. Is it the brain? The neurons? Atoms? That which wants to possess something, the mind, is itself nothing, meaning light. Therefore, what the ego wants to possess is in fact nothing, too. This understanding, gifted by the wise in this article “Nothing“, transforms the ego’s need to possess something in gratefulness to life that provides man with everything out of nothing, albeit illusory.
