What does man hear?

The moment when the first baby arrived in life can never be determined with precise accuracy. Nevertheless, it is right to assume that the baby uttered sounds characteristic of a child. Similarly, primitive man only uttered and heard sounds, until speech evolved within man’s mind. As life evolved, man mimicked animal sounds. The primitive mind knew an animal as an image in the mind and the sound it made. The mind did not know an animal by language, because a word had not yet evolved in the mind. Even to this day a baby imitates an animal, much before it speaks a language.

As life evolved further, man mimicked bird sounds. The primitive mind knew a bird as an image in the mind and the sound it made. The mind did not know a bird by language, because a word had not yet evolved in the mind. Even to this day a baby is in awe when it hears a bird chirp, much before it speaks a language.

As life evolved further, man’s movements and mind evolved too. These evolved movements made primitive musical instruments. The sounds of animal and birds within man’s mind evolved as rudimentary music. The primitive mind knew a musical instrument as an image in the mind and not by language, because a word had not yet evolved in the human mind. People sat around those who could play music to listen, and thus began society. Society took birth by the advent of rudimentary music, much before language or knowledge evolved. Even to this day a baby is thrilled by musical toys, much before it begins to speak a language.

As life evolved, so did intellect. A single musical note evolved into multiple notes. The single notes evolved into letters and multiple notes became words. This meant, although man heard sound, intellect made them sound in the mind as letters and words. Intellect made words evolve as primitive language, which was nothing but an orchestra of sounds. Even to this day children identify animal, bird or music by sound, much before speaking a language.

As life evolved, intellect related letters and words to images in the mind, and by this phenomenon man continued to identify life. The repetition of identification conditioned the mind to language. Modern man, due to his conditioned mind, believes he hears and speaks a language, although only sound is heard during hearing and sound is uttered during speaking. The belief that man is capable of hearing and speaking a language is an illusion of sound, and language is not real as an actuality. Therefore, what man hears is an orchestra of sound, which has miraculously evolved as language in the mind.
