“He is a Guru who explains that the whole is light” Dr. Shankar: He is a Guru who brings about the understanding of advaita why there is no second in life, and it is not possible for even the one either to exist as real. He brings about the understanding that everything including you and him is an illusory reflection of the whole. He is a Guru who explains that words have not been coined by man, but words have happened to man, and that words are an illusory manifestation of sound, and they refer to relative meanings which forms knowledge and point to wisdom as well. He is a Guru who brings absolute meaning to the relative words by using words which are illusory by their nature. He is a Guru who explains that any vision is illusory and not real. He is a Guru who explains that the whole is light, and there cannot be a person to see this vision, for the person would be light too. The ‘isness’ which is the truth is light, for everything that exists is light. Since all is in a flux and it is in a flux for it is a singular movement of light, the ever changing appearance of forms, objects and activities has to be illusory and not real, including every order of beliefs. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, for energy is light which exists everywhere and has no cause for its existence. Only the effects of light are present which are the illusory world, man and mind including all forms of knowledge which includes the sum total of orders or beliefs. This is the real meaning of advaita. It is not a study it is a revelation that the whole is pure light. How the illusory world is manifested that appears real to the mind cannot be understood by logic.
“The human being only claims” Dr. Shankar: Anatomy and Physiology of every living species including human beings evolves spontaneously, uncontrollably and unpredictably in life. Therefore, the structure, form, shape, colour, functions, movements and behaviour are unique and different to each, meaning they may be similar but never identical. If they were identical every species including human being’s structure, form, shape, colour, functions, movements and behaviour would be the same. The species human being does nothing; to see, to hear, to smell, to taste, to touch, to think or to move. They all happen to a human being. They are the human being’s survival instincts and they happen spontaneously, uncontrollably, and unpredictably, just as the survival instincts happen to all species, spontaneously, uncontrollably, and unpredictably by the intelligence of life or God. The human being only claims that he can; see, hear, speak, think, move, smell, taste, touch and behave. The claim is false meaning illusory and not real.

LETTERS AAU: “pondering” Dr Shankar, It has taken some time to digest our last interaction and today I was pondering when you say creation is an illusory manifestation of light and sound I understand that creation is in the mind? and if all creation is sound and forms are light and I heard that man understands there are speeds greater than light, then my question would be how or what value would sound play in a world of such speed? Would it not be left behind so to speak? If all is contained in intelligence, is intelligence sound? Dr.Shankar: All creation is light and sound; meaning sound too is light at lesser speed. Forms are light and sound too, as there is sound within the form, with or without life; sound is light at lesser speed. Sound follows light and that is why the mind is a delay. This is the value of sound. Intelligence is pure light Dr Shankar, when you say intelligence is pure light, does that mean it is not reflected light? And if there is no sound in it, then how does it translate or express itself other than through sound? Dr. Shankar: Dear Linda, Intelligence gives rise to reflected light which contains wave lengths that appear as sound to the mind.
“Journey” Dr. Shankar, I realize that after writing you the I or sound of I that lives is always trying to go on the journey even when it cannot. I don’t know what lies beyond the parameters of its world or how to open beyond that sense. Anyhow I do value your wisdom greatly. Thank you. COMMENTS: Article ‘what does cause and effect mean?’ to article Gerard Benerink, Netherlands Happy Gerard can follow Dr. Shankar very well, whatever level it may be. In religion there is a cause to come in heaven. In spirituality there is a cause for enlightenment. In knowledge big bang is the cause. The mind is full of (very busy) with cause and effect and all individuals helps to maintain, can you do this/ that, don't forget, every judgement, argument etc. Cause and effect is huge. Thank You for making me to understand. Dr. Shankar has explained so many sharp and profound questions for mankind to ponder. Enjoying them all very much! Diane Izzedin, USA What a conundrum indeed served to the reader by this article, but certainly one worth pondering deeply to avoid unnecessary heartache, conflict that comes from judging, blaming and accusing. Our strong believes of obvious causes and effects … obvious it may be, but is it so? Obvious is vague and superficial… Shankar is the only sage alive today taking all deeper into understanding life profoundly, and totally so that true change can happen…..the change that makes for living together with absolute understanding.
