‘Wooden chair’ Dr Shankar: AAU Thoughts and feelings must be questioned without any assumption or conviction. For example the thought and feelings about a ‘wooden chair’ is there and should be questioned without any assumption or conviction. So let us question the ‘wooden chair’: if the atoms, the building blocks, of a ‘wooden chair’ were wood, then that chair would really be a wooden chair. If the atoms of a wooden chair were basically light, then that chair would be an illusion of light and nothing besides that. The scientific examination of the atoms of a wooden chair prove to be light: would you call that ‘wooden chair’ real or illusory?
‘Now’ Dr.Shankar: AAU When reality is completely validated as being illusory awakening happens. The ‘now’ is the simple truth because it is timeless and thoughtless. The intelligence of life is thereby admired. Absolute understanding does not happen in the ‘now’ as the now is timeless and thoughtless. It happens in illusory time which is mistaken as the ‘now’ where understanding relative and absolute happens. Absolute understanding reveals that the simple truth is the timeless and thoughtless ‘now’. Love peace and happiness (not the excited mind) is the now and not in the now. Human love, peace or happiness (which is only an excited mind) are not in the now, they are in illusory time. Likewise human sadness, fear and doubt, right and wrong, albeit illusory, all happen in illusory time and therefore cannot be in the now. Spiritual practises, albeit illusory, happen in illusory time that appears as the now to man, but it is not the ‘now’. Remember illusory does not mean that they do not exist. The only absolute is pure light and the ‘now’ is reflected light and therefore relatively absolute. In the caves of the human mind, auditory illusions of sound echo.

Right now I admire 2008 CD’s sooooo much!!! What a deep look into life! It seems to me that the understanding built ground for the deeper understanding to come. Always again grateful and in awe how we are blessed to know Dr.Shankar!

After meeting several `teachers` I finally met Dr. Shankar who explains that the world, man and mind are an illusory manifestation of light and sound. When I listen to all the CDs and read the books, I recognize that from the very beginning of sharing you explained the illusion in detail and clarity. Sooner or later it waits to be explained. A mystery that unfolds every moment as a unreal illusion is a real mystery. COMMENT: CD ‘Life’s Intelligence’ Elisabeth, Netherlands How did life fabricate an action in man's mind? Man became connected with his external world through the sensation of taste. Life required that man had his sensations converted into thought form. It needed to convert all five senses into thought form because we recognize our world only through our senses. Life had to project a singular movement as an action in man's mind so that man may appreciate life's intelligence. A mind had to recognize an action, not in life, but within itself. COMMENT: CD ‘Real and Illusory’ Elisabeth, Netherlands What is the characteristics of our activities which happen every day in our life? Life is nothing but a reaction and a stimulus process. Mind is reacting to life. How would man jump out of the reactionary process? Life is trying to tell you something wherein a reaction simply converts itself into a response. You begin to see the clarity between the thinking process and an observation. Without judgment, just watching. Everything that exists is light. We have not got a thought called light in the mind.
