Every educated or uneducated man and woman wishes, wants and desires to learn in life. The learning is done in the moment and the content of what is learnt is known in the moment only after learning is actually done or is being done. Whatever the educated or the uneducated man or woman learns in life, if it is accepted, it is applauded and appreciated not only by them, but also by the society. The same is expected every time whenever he or she wishes, wants and desires to learn. The acceptance, applause, appreciation and expectation also happen in the moment and are known in the moment not only to him or her, but also to those who know what is learnt.

Comments: Article ‘To Learn (1)’

During our journey in life, sometimes imaginatively described as from cradle to grave, we will engage in countless experiences and perform innumerable skilled and unskilled tasks. Some will be intellectual and some physical. Our journey is a story that has both a beginning and an end. There is rejoicing and there is mourning in this story at the apparent coming and going of life. We are ready both to learn and to teach what may be considered beneficial. It may happen that we meet a wise man on our way whose deep understanding is an open book, as it were, to us all, educated or uneducated. No qualification is needed. The wise do not profess to teach. They have no body of knowledge to pass on, no teaching. They live the life that we live in the deep understanding that man is not a doer. He or she never has been nor will ever be. Trust life that is.
Marcus Stegmaier, Munich
From where do humans learn their mother tongue? Do the words that man thinks or speaks belong to him? Or do they come from parents, teachers, etc.? The words that happen to man do not belong to anyone, not even to himself. But to the conditioned mind they sound precisely as if they belonged to him and as if he had learned them from others. But the first thinking and speaking human had no one from whom he could have learnt the words. They happened to him spontaneously. When clarity happens to man in the timeless now and thoughtless here that all words and thoughts happen to him without him thinking them, and the words and thoughts do not control life, but accompany life as illusionary language, there is no longer any doubt about the explanation of the wise why man does not learn anything but learning happens to him, albeit illusory, as in this article by Dr. Shankar.
Thank you very much for the cd ‘Why is life difficult?’. What a wonderful deep understanding to help self-enquirers to trust and witness life patiently as it is, rather than taking the illusory thoughts in their minds to be life!

In Article ‘ To Learn (6)’Dr. Shankar is step by step explaining we are living in a dream meaning illusory or not real. Learning with all facets is also in the dream too but looks because of conditioning very real. This is the bondage and Dr. Shankar is pointing us in every article to awakening through understanding. Deconditioning will happen by understanding. The biggest gift in Life. Even this is hardly to understand by the mind. Thank You!!
