So the earth is not only what we walk on, play on, sit on, build on, grow vegetation in, dig in, bury in. The wise proclaim that the existence of earth cares for the existence of everything that has ever existed, exists now and will ever exist. No wonder it has been worshipped and adored by man as Mother Earth. Man would do well in understanding, as the wise do, what is present in every moment of life.

Therefore man believes himself to be separate from earth. Since the Earth was first present here where we live and the elements in the earth evolved as, matter, plants, animals and humans, the earth is obviously the mother of existence on our planet Earth. We have no existence independent from earth.

For me it is important to understand, how we came into this world to appear as a human being. The Cd ' EVOLVING' reveals why man is a mini cosmos. Every aspect of life has evolved and keeps on evolving. The intelligence as light is evolution and this light appears as matter, vegetation, animals and human beings - all as a reflection of light and not as a reality. Man is a sophistication of all forms that have preceded him, means consciousness has transformed from five elements to matter, vegetation, animals and human beings. And consciousness will not stop with man. There is still a gap between man and the Absolute. Dr. Shankar emphasises that since ape didn't do anything to become man, it is only a matter of patience. The Cd addresses also the question about the purpose in life. Since five elements, vegetation and animals have no sense of purpose in life, it's all a game of happening without a purpose, a play of light and sound. Only man thinks of a purpose because the mind, which was dormant in all previous forms, has finally evolved and sophisticated in human beings. It is awesome and fascinating to understand this deeply.
